The D5030D enables the acquisition of a signal from a dry contact (SOLIBA EX) or a proximity sensor installed in a hazardous area (Zone 0 / Div. 1), electrically isolates it, and then faithfully reproduces its state via a relay in a safe zone.
When used with a SOLIBA EX dry contact level regulator, the D5030D plays an essential role: it ensures secure transmission of the level signal to the control system while meeting ATEX standard requirements. It thus guarantees a reliable interface between field equipment in explosive zones and installations in safe zones.
Thanks to its dual-channel configuration, the D5030D offers great flexibility. It can repeat two separate inputs to simultaneously manage multiple signals, or duplicate a single input to two outputs to feed different systems. The second output can also be dedicated to fault signaling (open line or short circuit), thereby enhancing installation safety and diagnostics.
The D5030D is part of the intrinsically safe interface range, specially designed for high-risk industrial environments such as chemical, oil or gas industries, where signal transmission reliability and safety are essential.
