The SOLIBA MS is a compact diaphragm level detector, designed for maximum and minimum level control of bulk materials in silos, tanks and storage facilities. It also enables flow management and obstruction detection in tubes, pipes or conveyors.
This device is equipped with a diaphragm specifically adapted to dusty, granulated or sandy bulk materials, such as dust, flour, cereals, sand or plastic granules. It is recommended for materials with a bulk density between 0.3 and 1 t/m3 and low viscosity.
For optimal operation, it is important that the material pressure on the diaphragm is sufficient to allow its return to the initial position when it is no longer covered with product.

Master your installation levels by pressure
Detection results from the pressure exerted by the bulk material on the diaphragm, which forces it to retract and reverses the switch position. The signal thus generated then activates an electrical contact, which sends a stop or control signal to the automation system. The SOLIBA MS is equipped with a spring adjustment system to adjust sensitivity. Tightening the adjustment nut decreases sensitivity and increases the tension exerted on the material to activate the microswitch.

In outdoor or humid areas, the electrical connection of the float level switch must be waterproof and properly insulated in a hermetic box, preventing water or other contaminants from entering the cable. This prevents water infiltration that could compromise the safety of electrical connections and the float's lifespan. The electrical junction box should never be placed inside the tank. The cable and its capillary can be extended using standard signal cable. We equip our float switches with the cable length you require to avoid connections that would impair their operation. |
