Tilt level detectionThe technology of silo filling stop using tilt level detectors is a very simple, reliable system. Installed inside the silo, hopper or storage cell, the SOLIBA level detector is suspended at the end of its electrical cable. During filling, the bulk material (grains, powders, pellets, etc.) forms a slope. When the slope reaches the detector, it causes it to tilt. The change in inclination then activates an electrical contact, which sends a stop or control signal to the automation system (e.g. filling stop, alarm triggering, etc.). |
