Level detection for bulk solids

Rotary paddle level detectors developed by ATMI detect high and low levels of bulk solids contained in storage silos.

Placed on the hopper or bulk solid storage silo, rotary paddle level detectors are rotated by a motor. The operation of rotary paddle level detectors is simple.

When the paddle is covered by the bulk material, rotation is stopped, the signal is cut and indicates that the level is reached.

When the bulk material level decreases, the paddle is released, the signal is restored and the motor restarts to fill the silo or hopper. Different types of paddles or process connections allow adaptation to tanks and products to be detected according to product density.
