The SOLIBA M is an economical diaphragm level detector for monitoring maximum and minimum levels of bulk materials in silos, tanks and storage facilities. It also allows flow management and detection of obstructions in tubes, pipes or conveyors.
This device is equipped with a membrane specially adapted to dusty, granular or sandy bulk materials, such as dust, flour, cereals, sand or plastic pellets. It is recommended for materials with a bulk density between 0.3 and 1 t/m3 and low viscosity.
For optimal operation, it is important that the material pressure on the membrane is sufficient to allow its return to the initial position when it is no longer covered with product.

Master the levels of your installations by pressure
Detection results from the pressure exerted by the bulk material on the membrane, which forces it to retract and reverses the switch position. The signal thus generated then activates an electrical contact, which sends a stop or command signal to the automation system. The SOLIBA MS is equipped with a spring adjustment system allowing sensitivity adjustment. Tightening the adjustment nut decreases the sensitivity and increases the tension exerted on the material to activate the microswitch.

In outdoor or humid spaces, the electrical connection of the float level switch must be watertight and properly insulated in a sealed box, thus preventing water or other contaminants from entering the cable. This helps prevent water infiltration that could compromise the safety of electrical connections as well as the float's lifespan. The electrical connection box must never be placed inside the tank. The cable and its capillary can be extended using a standard signal cable. We equip our floats with the cable length you desire to avoid connections that would impair their operation. |
