Acetone is the simplest compound in the ketone family in chemistry
Among acetone's uses, it is a solvent widely used in industry and laboratories. It is also a compound used as a base for manufacturing plastics, medicines, and other products from the synthetic industry. Acetone is notably used in industry to produce bisphenol A through reaction with phenol.
Acetone is also the main component of certain solvents used to remove nail polish. Also, acetone is used for industrial degreasing.
The EPDM cable, which equips our ACS certified level detectors, has excellent stability in the presence of polar liquids such as acetone, methanol, etc.
Our float level switches (ON/OFF) designed for drinking water level control and/or detection can also be used to control/detect the acetone level in a tank.
