For over 45 years, ATMI, a French company specializing in level measurement, has designed and manufactured reliable devices such as floats, float level switches, level detectors and other sensors adapted to demanding industrial environments. Present in the field of level control for liquids and solids, ATMI develops robust solutions, manufactured in France and used worldwide to ensure the safety and performance of installations.
In line with this requirement for reliability and long-term commitment, ATMI has chosen to go beyond its industrial activities to concretely support the preservation of natural environments. Thus, ATMI subscribed to a forestry project with EcoTree in November 2025, to contribute to the sustainable management of a forest in France. Through this voluntary approach, the company supports a project in the Lacelle forest in Correze, participating in an established mechanism around carbon sequestration and ecosystem restoration.
This donation supports a voluntary sustainable forest management approach within the Lacelle massif (Correze). Far from any excessive claims, this commitment translates into silvicultural practices respectful of ecosystems: diversity of species, priority to natural regeneration and absence of chemical products.
The forest plays a crucial role in biological balance and carbon capture. ATMI's participation in this project is estimated at 20 tonnes CO2 equivalent. This assessment is based on a rigorous approach taking into account the specificities of the soil and the massif as a whole, not on an isolated analysis at tree level.
Whether it involves level measurement, pumping safety or groundwater monitoring, ATMI solutions are intrinsically linked to their operating environment. Understanding and protecting these environments is therefore a natural extension of our technical expertise. By acting for biodiversity preservation and ecosystem restoration, ATMI reaffirms its vision of sustainable, measured industrial activity conscious of its footprint.
ATMI equipment is designed to operate long-term, in sometimes sensitive environments. Through its float level switches and piezometric probes, ATMI operates in close proximity to water resources and soils. Supporting a forestry project therefore means recognizing the direct link between industrial performance and preservation of environmental balance.
This approach does not claim to neutralize the company's overall impact, but contributes to common good projects for the preservation of natural resources, on a global scale.
We chose EcoTree, European leader in Nature-based Solutions, for the rigor of their approach. This partnership allows us to register our action within a certified framework (Low Carbon Label, Natura 2000 zones) and to monitor the real impact of our contribution.
The location: The Lacelle massif in Correze, an area where sustainable forest management is a priority.
The contribution: Our funding participates in a global carbon sequestration project estimated at 20 tonnes of CO2e (CO2 equivalent).
The method: We are not talking here about isolated "tree planting", but about financing a complete forest ecosystem. This sequestration is calculated at the massif scale, including biodiversity and soil quality.
ATMI, level under control!
