The water level sensors sold by ATMI are used to detect the level of water or liquid in a tank and to activate or stop the filling of the tank. These omnidirectional level sensors are positioned above the tank.
ATMI offers omni-directional biconical level sensors that are weighted on a cable: SOBA SMALL, SOBA, SOBA HR HY, SOBA EX, SOBA EP ACS but also omnidirectional and self-weighted level sensors such as AQUA XL, AQUA MEDIUM and AQUA MEDIUM EP.
Heavier, self-weighted devices can pass through a layer of grease accumulated on the surface of the water of the tank.
ATMI also has solid tilt level switches (grains, cereals), level detectors specially designed to enter small accesses, level switches directly connected to the pum such as BIP STOP.
When the water level rises and reaches the set limit level, the sensor tilts and stops or switches on the filling of the tank. This allows the emptying and filling functions to be performed. A complete range of level detectors is available at ATMI. They will allow you to detect the level of water and other liquids, the level of drinking water (in this case an ACS certification is required). But some level sensors can also detect the level of aggressive liquids or measure the level of liquid in an explosive area.
