The level probes for conductive liquids are level control relay or regulators that maintain liquids within set limits between a maximum level and a minimum level and ensure protection of submersible pumps against dry running.
Depending on your applications, you will find in our LEVEL PROBES RANGE, the device that will meet your needs, taking into account the liquid conductivity and the desired level difference between the probes:
The voltage at the probes being in alternating current, this allows delaying the fouling phenomenon of the probes by electrolysis. Our devices can control, through a relay, pumps of unlimited power.
The operating principle of level probes for conductive liquids is based on reading the liquid resistance through the control box to which several probes are connected (between 3 and 5 depending on the model).
Levels are controlled through special stainless steel AISI 316 probes, which allow the use of these devices in environments as diverse as deep wells, reservoirs, cisterns and tanks.
When the level of the controlled liquid reaches the regulation probes, the relay of the electronic box activates, and will only deactivate when the probe designating the low level is no longer in contact with the liquid.
These electric level probes offer the same operating possibilities as regulators, that is to say, either in "DRAINAGE" mode, or in "FILLING" mode depending on the connection chosen by the user. The electronic control box can be controlled at great distances up to 1000 meters.
