For the control of filling operations in silos containing grain and very light powdered materials, ATMI has developed SOLIBA E, a level sensor with a bulb-shaped probe for solids, which operates on the high-level detection principle.

The SOLIBA E tilt level detector is a high-level sensor designed for non-explosive areas. It ensures that the filling of storage cells and silos is safely stopped.

Thanks to its tilt-based operation, the SOLIBA E tilt level detector can be used in all industrial applications requiring a mechanical ‘tilt switch’ to activate solenoid valves, PLCs and various pieces of equipment.

Applications of the SOLIBA E sensor

The main applications of the SOLIBA E tilt level detector are as follows:

• Grains and cereals: oats, sunflower seeds, rapeseed, soya beans, rice, wheat, maize, barley, etc.
• Animal feed: pets, birds, poultry, livestock, etc.
