The water level sensors or water level float switch, sold by ATMI, allow detecting the water or liquid level in a tank and triggering or stopping the filling. These omnidirectional float level sensors are positioned above a tank. When the water level rises and reaches the defined limit level, the sensor tilts and stops or triggers the tank filling. This allows performing drainage and filling functions.
A complete range of level detectors is available at ATMI. They will allow you to detect water and various liquid levels, drinking water level (in this case an ACS certification is required). But some level detectors also allow detecting aggressive liquid levels or measuring liquid levels in explosive zones.
ATMI offers biconical level detectors that are omnidirectional and float with external ballast on a cable: SOBA SMALL, SOBA, SOBA HRHY, SOBA EX, SOBA ACS but also self-ballasted level sensors that are omnidirectional, such as AQUA XL, AQUA MEDIUM, AQUA MEDIUM ACS, AQUA XL ACS.
Heavier, the self-ballasted devices can penetrate through a layer of grease accumulated on the surface of a tank or water reservoir.
ATMI also has level detectors for solids (grains, cereals), level detectors specially designed to fit into small openings, level switches directly connected to the pump.
